Job Description: Twin Valley Telephone, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with familiarity to the telecommunications industry to fill the position of Network Technician. The Network Technician will primarily work with the outside technicians to remotely install and troubleshoot voice and data services, monitor and maintain the network and assist with provisioning of the hosted services. Essential Job Functions and Requirements: Telephony design, implementation, and tier I service support for business and residential customers. Provides tier 1 technical support Assists Hosted PBX provisioning Promotes Twin Valley products and models excellent customer service to every customer Good working knowledge across all of Twin Valley s technologies and vendors, for both business class and residential applications Performs all other related duties assigned by management Education and Experience: Experience with IP based telephony systems Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Central office transport and switching, IP networking, routing and network design Experience with Metaswitch platforms a plus Two year degree in computer science, telecommunications, or demonstrated equivalent work experience required CCNA a plus Twin Valley Telephone offers a competitive salary and full complement of benefits.
