Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levelsMonitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomesStay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients businessDemonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledgeDemonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledgePossess good business acumenRemain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledgeCollaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documentsWork with the engagement team to document the business processes dependent on information technologyServe as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performanceDemonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systemsUse knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentationsDemonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and servicesRequired SkillsAn undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, accounting, finance or a related fieldMBA or MS degreeA minimum of 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience; and, a minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industrySignificant experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one of the following engagements: (a) financial statement audits; (b) internal or operational audits; (c) SAS 70 engagements; and/or (d) ERP security and control reviews (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft)CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CMA, RICS APC, PMP or CCIM certification
