We currently have an opening for a Recruiter Responsibilities: Demonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills. Demonstrates an active commitment to the mission and values of the hospital. Recruits, interviews, screens, and refers job candidates for job openings. Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. Assists in the development of recruitment programs to attract applicants and to fill specific openings. Initiates contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position. Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization. May write and place classified advertisements in various media. Reviews and approves on:line screening questions related to job descriptions. Coordinates and participates in job fairs and sets up display. Makes public presentations at various schools and organizations focusing on the hospital and different job opportunities. Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit applicants. Utilizes on:line internet recruiting sources to identify and recruit applicants. Requests background checks, employment references, and education verification on candidates. Coordinates the pre:employment process with candidates. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree preferred Four to ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills Must be able to multi:task and effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines Interact professionally with executives, management, and employees of the hospital as well as members of other organizations PHR or SPHR preferred :
