We currently have an opening for a Medication Reconciliation Technician Supervisor in our Pharmacy. Responsibilities: Oversees Medication Reconciliation technicians assisting in obtaining accurate medication histories for all admitted patients. Assures that appropriate techniques and customer service skills are employed. Coordinates timely capture of medication histories using a team approach to empower pharmacy medication reconciliation technicians. Operates computer systems to accurately input medication histories and obtain necessary patient information. Coordinates the provision of quality pharmacy services through active participation on the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Uses a courteous and professional customer:focused approach while interacting directly or on the telephone with all customers. Performs all duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in the State of Kansas. Requirements: High school diploma required; bachelors degree preferred PTCB pharmacy Technician Certification preferred Minimum 2 years (5 years preferred) experience as a pharmacy technician in a large hospital setting offering comprehensive pharmacy services. :
