We currently have an opening for Cardiac Lab Admin Tech Responsibilities: Assists with other performance improvement projects as needed including the development of outcomes reports on departmental performance. Billing/Charges (as assigned): a) Manage Charge Capture in EMR (i.e., input daily charges for Cardiac Labs, create new charges); b) Reconcile hospital internal billing/PO issues; c) Liaison to vendors related to patient accounts; d) Verify EMR financial reports daily; e) Create bill only POs; f) Monitor monthly departmental bills; g) Troubleshoot issues with data archiving systems; h) Liaison to financial department related to patient accounts; i) Maintains knowledge on Medicare guidelines/ruling that impact charges. Liaison to research department/quality outcomes department. Maintain departmental databases, as applicable. Participates in departmental projects as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepares monthly, quarterly and year end reports. Serve as a backup to Cardiac Lab scheduler. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required Associates degree or above required Registration as Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT); Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); or Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) preferred Cardiac Lab (Cath Lab and/or EP Lab) experience required If selected to move forward in the hiring process, you will receive an email invitation to schedule your interview for this position.
