Three year old Pistachio is a lovely dog who has not seemed to let her previous life as a stray affect her sunny outlook or friendliness towards humans. Indeed, she is happy to be back outside, checking out the neighborhood, and her exuberance suggests that no one has ever taken the time to leash train her. Nevertheless, she is very good at checking in with her handler during walks, and is so sweet that I was happy to spend time with her. Pistachio earned a rating of "Average" on her behavior tests (a top score!) which means that she tested well with people, food, toys, and other dogs and is recommended for an average adopter. Pistachio has a gorgeous white coat with a few black polka dots around her ears and a big, almost comical, black nose.
